Top Plate, Top Clamp, and Top Insert Sleeve
These three products are generally used together to support the weight of the flue liner at the top of the chimney stack. The top plate is the main support and sits on the chimney brickwork. The flue liner passes through the hole in the top plate. The top insert sleeve is inserted inside the top of the flue liner. This provides rigid support inside the flue liner. The top clamp is then tightened against the flue liner and the top insert sleeve, which supports the weight of the liner.
Please note that this fixing method is only used where the chimney pot will be removed, or there is no chimney pot.
