Pot hanging cowls are used when installing a flue liner in a chimney stack, whilst not wishing to remove the existing chimney pot. They support the weight of the flue liner, and attach securely to the chimney pot. This one component is generally all you will need at the top end of your flue liner installation.
Installation
Connect the flue liner to the pot hanger cowl, by screwing the cowl on to the flue liner as you would an ordinary nut and bolt.
You can now connect the pot hanger cowl to your chimney pot, using the outer strap bands and adjustable jubilee band provided.
